INTRODUCTION TO VENUS (VTC) ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
We at Venus believe in bringing the benefits of the latest technology to our consumers. Now, in Solar Water Heaters too Venus introduces "Vacuum tube collectors" for the first time in India. Internationally renowned & accepted, this technology is superior to other prevalent systems in performance, reliability & ease of installation. Breakthrough technology that taps the unlimited power of the sun to give you enormous energy savings year after year.
Working of Venus VTC Solar Water Heaer
The Venus Vacuum Tube Collector solar water heater is made up of rows of parallel, transparent glass tubes. Each tube consists of a glass outer tube and an inner tube, or absorber, covered with a selective coating that absorbs solar energy well but inhibits radioactive heat loss. The air is withdrawn ("evacuated") from the space between the tubes to form a vacuum, which eliminates conductive and convective heat loss.
The Vacuum tube collector absorbs the heat from the solar radiation & heats up the water stored in the system through the Thermosiphonic effect.
What is Thermosiphonic Effect
A thermosiphon system relies on warm water rising, a phenomenon known as natural convection, to circulate water through the collectors and to the tank. In this type of installation, the tank must be above the collector. As water in the collector heats, it becomes lighter and rises naturally into the tank above. Meanwhile, cooler water in the tank flows down pipes to the bottom of the collector, causing circulation throughout the system. This is called Thermosiphonic Effect. This process continues steadily for a numer of hours till the water stored in the tank is heated up.
Heating from infrared rays of solar radiation
Greater absorption area per day
Minimum heat loss from the system due to the vacuum tubes & PUF insulated storage tank
Better performance in winter & on cloudy days.
Maintenance free, easy to clean
Full Stainless steel Mirror Finish
Compact size & lesser space required for installation.
Completely Shadow free area on a flat or slopping roof
Close to the bathrooms to avoid long piping & heat losses
A water tank at a atleast of 2.5m (5 ft) above roof level
The solar collector facing south.
Besides individual houses, the VTC solar water heater is also ideal for schools, hostels, hotels, dairies, breweries, canteens and industries like automotive, fertilizer, chemical, textiles, pharmaceuticles, etc.
One of the key benefits of this Venus brand solar water heater is its full Stainless steel construction. The inner tank is made of SS304, which
is highly resistant to corrosion and can withstand high temperatures. The outer tank and stand structure are made of SS410, which is durable
and provides excellent structural support. The fasteners are made of SS210, which is also resistant to corrosion and has high tensile strength.
The evacuated tubes are designed to maximize the absorption of solar energy, even in low-light conditions.
Stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion and rust, making it ideal for use in harsh coastal environments where salt-water, moisture, and
humidity can quickly degrade other materials. In summary, the benefits of using stainless steel in coastal areas include corrosion resistance,
durability, aesthetic appeal, low maintenance, and longevity. These qualities make stainless steel an excellent choice for a variety of
applications that are exposed to the corrosive effects of salt-water and humidity
Superior corrosion resistant SS304 Inner tank
Long life SS410 outer cladding.
Exclusive Venus Vacuum Tube Technology with triple layer coating for maximum absorption of solar radiation.
SS410 stand - sturdy and rust resistant.
Backup electric heating element for cold rainy days(Optional).
5cm Thick PUF insulation for minimum heat loss
Venus Solar Water Heaters are designed to offer substantial savings when compared to electric water heaters.
